Silicon Valley Salon: ‘Insights into the Boardroom’
June 4 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm PDT
Caroline Tsay, CEO, Compute Software; Independent Board Director for The Coca-Cola Company and Morningstar
Hosted by Kathryn Ullrich, Technology Partner and Head of U.S. Diversity Practice, Odgers Berndtson
Serving on a board is a drastic shift from an operating role. But exactly how do you apply your whole career story and value to a boardroom role? And how do you shift from that operating role to an overarching steward of a company’s long-term value and purpose?
Join us for an intimate fireside chat with Caroline, who by the age of 36, was already serving on three public company boards. You’ll hear the “fly on the wall” learnings from the boardroom. You will learn how to navigate a path to the boardroom, and how to ensure that you can deliver value once you get there. This is an opportunity to hear candid boardroom lessons in a friendly environment, as well as a chance to mingle with your local Athena community.
