VIRTUAL SALON: ‘Board Level Crisis Management: When the CEO is the Problem’
September 3 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
It’s not if your board will face a crisis, it’s when. Today’s boards must be prepared for all types of crises. While it’s not unusual for us to see news headlines of major company crises, understanding how to be prepared, how to respond, and how to mitigate the fallout of a crisis is critical for current board directors and aspiring directors alike.
This is the second event in a special Virtual Salon series, led by Governance, Risk and Crisis expert, Board member and author, Andrea Bonime-Blanc. In the first salon, Andrea discussed company-level crises involving complex ESG health and safety cases including Boeing and Volkswagen. In this second salon, Andrea shifts her focus to the CEO – to the impact of leadership and culture failure. She’ll discuss a variety of CEO crises and examine the role of the board in such situations. Join Andrea as she explores what it means to lead through a crisis, and learn best practices for modern board governance.
